Florine Day Joyner of the 5000 block of West Grove Road, died Sept. 21, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Southampton County, Va., and was a retired cook. She was a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ, Chesapeake, and the Mothers Board.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Alice Ricks, Doris Bryant of Norfolk and Gean C. Green of Courtland, Va.; two brothers, James Day of Virginia Beach and Robert Day of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Jones Memorial Cemetery, Virginia Beach, by Elder Frank Smith. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
