Iris Vernell Strickland, 67, died Sept. 22, 1994 in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Strickland was born Aug. 12, 1927 in Knotts Island, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Strickland; a son, Warren W. Walters of Maine; a sister, Jackie Lawson of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Pastor Paul D. Moore. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.
