The Board of Directors of Drug Emporium Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio, expanded its membership and elected Keith E. Alessi, 39, as a Class I director to serve until the annual meeting in June 1996. Alessi, a certified public accountant, served as chief financial officer of the company until June of this year when he was elected treasurer.
