DOMINION RESOURCES'S V.P. NAMED TO BOARD WITH VIRGINIA POWER

Virginia Power's board of directors has named J. Kennerly Davis Jr. the company's vice president-treasurer and corporate secretary. Davis, whose appointment takes effect Oct. 1, currently is vice president and corporate secretary of Dominion Resources Inc., the parent company of Virginia Power. Linwood Robertson, vice president and treasurer, will succeed Davis. Robertson currently is vice president-finance and treasurer at Dominion Resources. by CNB
