SEND THIS YANKEE TO THE NORTH

Wake up, native Virginians! Our forefathers did not shed their blood and die in the War Between the States in order for us to elect a New York Yankee to represent us in the U.S. Senate. Although we were defeated then, we were not conquered; so now the North invades us and attempts occupation again.

This wolf in sheep's clothing and his gang of high-rollers are laughing up their sleeves because they regard Southerners as a bunch of ignorant yahoos whose gullibility makes them fall for any propaganda. These outsiders think that Virginia is for sale.

The clues are all there; look at his name. It's not ``North'' for nothing. He calls himself ``Ollie.'' Take away the ``OL,'' and what's left? LIE! Don't be fooled; a vote for North is a vote against the South.

This guy just doesn't get what our traditional Southern honor is. He is play-acting at ``good ol' boy.'' If you look beneath the surface, you'll realize that he is not one of us.

Regardless of what he feeds us, our mothers did not teach us that wrongs are right if everyone else is doing it; our fathers did not bring us up to believe that lying is OK if we aren't under oath.

Let's remember our Southern values and send the New York Yankee back where he came from! If they want him, let them elect him.
