LUCILLE B. BERRY

Lucille B. ``Cille'' Berry, 52, died Sept. 22, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. Berry was born in Suffolk, Va., and was a member of Manning United Methodist Church in Manning, S.C. She was employed with the S.C. State Highway Department. She was a member of the S.C. State Employees Association and served as a board member of the Sumter Chapter of the association. She was also a C.P.R. and First Aide instructor.

Survivors include her husband, Allen L. Berry Jr.; two daughters, Mary Alice Sutherlin of Greenville, S.C. and Joyce Richards Casey of Simpsonville, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Danielle Berry of Sumter, S.C.; her mother, Eva Harrell Barden of Manning; a sister, Carol Barden Smith of Manning; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her father, Terence Vaughan Barden.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk, by Dr. Steve Shugart. The family will receive friends at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Manning United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 68, Manning, S.C., 29102.
