Vincil Hamilton Riley, 72, of the 700 block of B St., a retired correctional officer, died Sept. 22, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Riley was born in Camen, Mo. He was retired from the State of Virginia after 18 years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having retired after 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia D. Riley; two daughters, Cindy Stocks of Norfolk and Sharon Carr of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Nelda Brazelton of Vista, Calif.; and a grandson, Philip Carr of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. Willis Dowling. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and will be at the residence at all other times.
