Pearl Elizabeth Reaves, 74, died Sept. 23, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Reaves was born in Anniston, Ala., and lived in Norfolk for 40 years. She was the widow of Gordon William Reaves Sr.
Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Anne Verkindren of Minnesota; Susan Glaros, Gerry Downing and Chris Hamilton, all of Norfolk; three sons, Gordon W. Reaves Jr. of Norfolk, Thomas A. Reaves of Fulda, Germany, and David R. Reaves of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Susan Solomon. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. The family will receive friends at 5845 Hartwick Drive, Norfolk, following the service.
