U.S. Senate candidates Charles S. Robb and Oliver L. North crossed paths briefly Friday night at the Virginia State Fair, where both agreed to subject their characters to more scrutiny - at a handwriting analysis booth.
Robb and North wrote their signatures on cards, and a woman fed them into a Televac handwriting-analysis machine. Seconds later, a computerized printout appeared.
Here's what it said for each candidate.
