GUIDO P. ZABOT

Guido P. Zabot, 75, of the 100 block of Cartwell Drive, a retired district manager, died Sept. 23, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Zabot was born in Pedavena, Italy. He retired from People's Life Insurance Co. after 38 years; was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church; head usher, Knights of Columbus; past president of Keystone Rotary Club, Bluefield, W.Va.; past chairman and trainer for LUTC; and a member of the Board of Mental Health, Bluefield, W.Va., and PLICO Old Timers Club, Bluefield, W.Va.

Survivors include his wife, Matilda P. Zabot; a daughter, Rosemarie Z. Ellis of Lexington, N.C.; a son, Robert W. Zabot of Virginia Beach; a sister, Pierina McVickers of Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, Theresa M. Ellis, Kimberly E. Calvert and Reyburn W. Zabot; and a great-grandson, Kenneth Blaine Calvert.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Father Luke Policicchio. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Contributions may be made to Princess Anne Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad or Hospice Volunteers Inc., 4663 Haygood Road, Suite 211, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455.
