McKinley Hinton, 67, died Sept. 23, 1994.
Mr. Hinton was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of New Garden of Prayer (NU)4, Portsmouth.
Survivors include an aunt, Elizabeth Edwards; and a host of friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Garden of Prayer (NU)4 by Elder Samuel Moore. Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery, Newport News. Family and friends will assemble at Serenity Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday for the processional to the church. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
