JANE B. FOLSOM

Jane Humphries Broaddus Folsom, 59, of 63 Crescent Drive died Sept. 22, 1994. Mrs. Folsom was born in Jonesville, N.C. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church, its WMU and choir. She was a member of the Franklin Woman's Club, Southampton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a Pink Lady at S.M.H., an East Pavilion volunteer, Cub Scout Pack 28 den mother, volunteer for the High St. Senior Citizens, member of Pythian Sisters of Franklin and NOMADS.

Survivors include one daughter: Lora Kjell and her husband Paul of Janesville, Wisconsin; three sons: David Folsom of Newport News, James Folsom of Norfolk, and Steven Folsom and his wife Stacey of Port Mary, New Jersey; two brothers: Ralph Humphries and his wife Bernice and Roger Humphries and his wife Katie both of Burlington, N.C. 7 grandchildren. Mrs. Folsom was predeceased by a sister: Marie Layne.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994 in the Franklin Baptist Church by Dr. Roy DeBrand and Dr. Ira Hudgins. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Sunday) and suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
