Police on Sunday identified the pizza-delivery driver shot in a Saturday-night robbery as Dale Winkler, 42, whose address was not released.
Winkler, who is listed in critical but stable condition in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, was robbed and shot shortly after 9 p.m. as he was delivering a pizza to a home in the 1900 block of Greenleaf Drive in the Campostella section of the city.
While Winkler struggled with one robber, the second shot him in the head, police spokesman Larry Hill said.
Police are looking for two black men who wore hooded sweat shirts during the robbery.
Hill asked anyone with information to call 441-5100.
