Ezell Brook Smith, 54, a program manager, died Sept. 24, 1994, in Richmond, Va.
Mr. Smith was born in Lampasas, Texas. He was employed with Saic-Amsec. He was a member of Virginia Beach Freewill Baptist Church. He had retired from the U.S. Navy in 1982 as a senior chief.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn L. Smith of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Sherri L. Morrow of Virginia Beach; two sons, Wayne B. Smith of Germany and Wade Scott Smith of Virginia Beach; two stepsons, James Bailey and David Bailey, both of Virginia Beach; his parents, Noble Lee Smith and Samuel L. Smith of Evant, Texas; and a brother, Curtis L. Smith of Livingston, Texas.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Pastor Doug Horner. Burial will be in Cherokee Cemetery, Cherokee, Texas. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The body will be sent to Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas, for burial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America Inc., 2101 Executive Drive, Hampton, Va. 23666-2480.
