I commend the Roman Catholic Church for its strong stand against abortion. I have been preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ since 1951. I am not a Catholic. But the Catholic anti-abortion stand is good.
The slaughter of about 31 million unborn babies is the greatest crime in the history of America. The Supreme Court of the United States will give an account to the Lord some day for its part in this tragedy.
Though abortion is wrong, killing doctors who perform abortion is also wrong. In Romans 3:8 the question is asked, ``Let us do evil that good may come?'' As you read further the answer is no. To do evil to accomplish good doesn't work.
Forget the population explosion; the Lord will take care of that. Christ shall return in the clouds to take the Christians off the Earth before the Great Tribulation takes place (Rev. 3:10-11). During the following seven-year period, because of sins against God, terrific judgments will hit the Earth.
In Revelation 6:8, we see one-fourth of the population destroyed. In Revelation 9:15 and 18, we see one-third of Earth's population vanish.
That will be an enormous catastrophe. Faith in Christ is our only salvation. Jesus said, ``He that believes in me has everlasting life.''
The Lord gives life and he can take it whenever he pleases, so let's not try and do his job for him.
