West Fentress, 28, of Virginia Beach, died Sept. 25, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Fentress was a native of Virginia Beach. He worked in the family business, London Bridge Greenhouses and Nursery. West was an avid surfer, hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Bradshaw Fentress; his father, Frank Lee Fentress Jr.; one sister, Mandy Fentress; one brother, Frank Lee Fentress III, and sister-in-law, Amy T. Fentress; a niece, Whitney Fentress; three grandparents, Frank Lee Fentress Sr., Ruby Butt Fentress, all of Virginia Beach, and Ruby West Bradshaw of Kinston, N.C.
A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. W. Jerry Holcomb. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Marine Science Museum, Virginia Beach.
