MATTIE H. HUBER

Mattie Louise Hargrave Huber, 77, a lifelong resident of Surry, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 1994, at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk.

Mrs. Huber was the daughter of the late Willie Payton and Estele Kate Harvell Hargrave. She was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, Wakefield.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence D. Huber; two daughters, Betty H. Brinkley of Suffolk and Joyce H. Fuller of Disputanta; one son, David W. Huber of Wakefield; four sisters, Annie H. Fuller of Newport News, Wilma H. Holland of Windsor, Ruby H. Fuller of Colonial Heights, Hylah H. Clarke of Wakefield; three brothers, R. Jennings Hargrave, Jesse W. Hargrave and Earl W. Hargrave, all of Wakefield; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Rocky Hock United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1994, at 2 p.m. by the Rev James C. Hennings. The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association and the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad.
