ANTHONY P. COUTLIS

Anthony Peter ``Tony'' Coutlis, 73, of the 5400 block of Sunnywood Drive, died Sept. 24, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Coutlis was born in Boston, Mass. He had retired from the U.S. Navy as a C.P.O. aviation machinist mate after 30 years. He had also retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility as an aviation machinist after 15 years. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church-Annunciation. He was also a member of American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 60, Atlantic Masonic Lodge 2, Khedive Shrine Temple and Scottish Rite Bodies.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Coutlis of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Carolyn Denise Perez of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael Coutlis of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Evelyn Cook of Virginia Beach and Pauline Coutlis of Boston, Mass.; a brother, Peter Coutlis of Boston; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greek Orthodox Church-Annunciation by Fr. Constantine Rogakos. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myers Chapel. A Trisagion service will be held today at 6:30 p.m. with a Fleet Reserve and Masonic Service to follow in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, where the family will greet friends after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
