A bottlenose dolphin plays in the wake of a boat Saturday on Roanoke
Sound. A team of trained volunteers assembled by the Virginia Marine
Science Museum has been collaborating with volunteers from Florida
to New Jersey to count the animals. Results from the count are
expected in early October.
