COA BREAKS ATTENDANCE RECORD

College of the Albemarle has broken its all-time attendance record with 2,108 curriculum students registered for the fall quarter.

The previous high was 2,038 in the fall of 1992.

One reason for the high enrollment may be a new program in crime justice-protective services. One of the program's classes, ``Introduction to Paralegal Studies,'' has 112 students registered - an attendance record for a single class at COA. by CNB
