JEANNETTE F. QUAMME

Jeannette D. Feldt Quamme, died Sept. 27, 1994.

She was born in Chicago and reared in Green Bay, Wis. She was very active during prior years in Retired Officers Association of Broward County and the Coast Guard Officer's Wives Club, Miami. Her husband, Capt. Wesley J. Quamme, U.S. Coast Guard (Ret.), was former Comptroller, 7th Coast Guard District and Commanding Officer, Coast Guard Base, Miami.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Constance J. Fahey, wife of Capt. William F. Fahey, USN (Ret.) of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Colleen E. Fahey of Tallahassee, Jean Anderson of Glenn Dale, Md.; great-grandson, Taylor McKay Anderson; brother, George A. Feldt of Green Bay, Wis.; and aunt, Mae Bartell, also of Green Bay.

Services will be held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday . Viewing reception will be at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, Plantation, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services and interment will be at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.

As a devoted service wife who coped with 38 changes of duty stations, she will be remembered by her many service and civilian friends from Bermuda to Alaska as a fine housewife and mother, a gourmet cook, excellent dancer, could fish or cut bait, great gardener and last, but not least, in touch with the Lord. She shall be missed by all.
