WILLIAM C. CARDEN

William C. ``Kit'' Carden, 65, died Sept. 27, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Carden was born in Norfolk County. He was retired as a senior chief from the U.S Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He also retired from the City of Norfolk and was owner/operator of the 33rd Precinct Restaurant. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)40 and Fraternal Order of Eagles (NU)795.

Survivors include his wife, Mable K. Carden; a daughter, Judy Crisell of Chesapeake; two sisters, Frances Worrell of Virginia Beach and Betty Ruth Lehr of Hampton; a brother, Elvin Carden of South Chelmsford, Mass.; and three grandchildren, Charity Marie Crisell, Zachary Christopher Norman and Zoe Alexander Norman, all of Chesapeake. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Jeanette Norman.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Riverside Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.
