A major national news magazine has turned its attention to Pat Robertson's vitamin and cosmetics company. And a network news program may not be far behind.
This week's Newsweek features a lengthy story headlined: ``With God There's No Cap - Pat Robertson: Hawking vitamins - and skin cream from the Holy Land.''
ABC News also is working on a story about the vitamin and cosmetics company for one of its magazine shows, although it's unclear when that might air. The Virginian-Pilot and The Ledger-Star reported on the company last year.
KaloVita, a for-profit company, is owned equally by the Christian Broadcasting Network and by Robertson. Robertson is chairman of the board of CBN and of KaloVita. It is an arrangement that charity watchdog groups have called a potential conflict of interest.
The IRS has audited CBN for several years, but it has never taken any action and Robertson has never been accused of any illegality. by CNB
