Mary Hunter Phillips, 75, a retired secretary, died Sept. 24, 1994, in her residence.
She was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Dr. A. Charles Phillips of Keysville, Va.; a sister, Elizabeth Branch Carhart of Norfolk; a niece, Barbara Wales; nephews, Linwood D. Carhart and Charles E. Carhart; her former husband, Alison Phillips and his wife, Louise Phillips; and beloved friend, Frank Guzman.
A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Sunday in Norfolk Botanical Gardens Auditorium. A memorial breakfast will follow the service. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, Virginia Beach, is handling arrangements.
