Rev. James Washington Cuffee of the 2200 block of Longridge Road, a retired farmer, died Sept. 30, 1994, in Camelot Hall Nursing Home, Chesapeake.
The Rev. Cuffee was born in Hickory, Norfolk County. He retired from Hudgins Farms and was a member and assistant pastor of Gabriel Chapel A.M.E.Z. Church.
He is survived by many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Gabriel Chapel A.M.E.Z. Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Carey Johnson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
