Jerry Lee King, 89, of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, a homemaker, died Sept. 29, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mrs. King was born in Dallas County, Ala. She was the daughter of the late Patsy S. and Johnny Walker, and was the widow of Cliffton King. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church, Norfolk, and former member of Morning Star Baptist Church, Selma, Ala.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Williams of Norfolk; two sons, Charles Jones of Trenton, N.J. and Willie Jones of Norfolk; two sisters, Patsy Yelder of Bessemer, Ala. and Mary Gamble of Palm Coast, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk. The body will be shipped to Lewis Brothers Funeral Home in Selma, Ala., for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The family will be at 2827 Grandy Ave., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Hermon Baptist Church Building Fund, 3101 Lens Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23509.
