USAir, which boarded a record number of travelers in August at Norfolk International Airport, plans to add flights to Jamaica and Florida from Norfolk.
The Arlington-based airline plans to add two daily nonstop flights to Jacksonville in November and begin service in December to Montego Bay, Jamaica, said Norfolk district sales manager Joe B. Grant.
USAir boarded 64,077 passengers in Norfolk in August, up from about 63,000 in July, Grant said. The boardings shattered the company's longstanding Norfolk record of about 55,000 set in the mid-1980s, he said. by CNB
