Police have released the name of a man suspected of killing James Whitley in the 800 block of Reservoir Ave. Wednesday.
Police are looking for Ulric Alexander Scotland, 22, described as a black man, 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.
There is no known address for Scotland, police said, but he is known to frequent the Brambleton area of Norfolk and the Lake Edward area of Virginia Beach. He may be driving a red 1990 Toyota Corolla.
Police said Scotland may have fled to the Virgin Islands.
Anyone with information about Scotland is urged to call the Norfolk Crimeline at 441-5100.
