CRIME REPORT

Lists of property crimes and robberies in the city are provided to The Clipper by Chesapeake Police. They are printed on a space-available basis and include the address at which the crime occurred, the missing items and the approximate date. For robberies, a description of suspects also is provided.

PLEASANT GROVE BOROUGH

(Including Great Bridge)

Residential burglary, 400 block of Fairfield Blvd. Missing: video cassette recorder and a .38 caliber Colt revolver. Sept. 14.

Residential burglary, 500 block of Foxgate Quarters. Missing: purse containing five credit cards. Sept. 17 or 18.

SOUTH NORFOLK BOROUGH

(The old city of South Norfolk)

Grand larceny, 1000 block of Rowland Ave. Missing: chain saw, reciprocal saw and drills. Sept. 13.

Armed robbery, 3100 block of Fairview St. While the victim was unloading his vehicle, two men came up behind him. One suspect held a small handgun against the victim's head. The other demanded that the victim give them his wallet. Description of suspect: No. 1, black male, 20s, 5-feet-5-inches, 150 pounds, thin build, wore a dark green sweatshirt and black pants. No. 2, black male 20s, 5-feet-8-inches, 160 pounds, thin, wore a dark jacket, light T-shirt and black pants. Sept. 15. That same day four people were robbed at gunpoint while unloading a single vehicle at the same address. The descriptions of the suspects were the same. Sept. 15.

Strong-armed robbery, A 69-year-old woman was getting out of her vehicle at the Moose Lodge, when a man grabbed her shoulder bag then pushed her to the ground. During the fall she received severe injuries. Description of suspect: black male, late 20s, 5-feet-9 inches, 170 pounds, wore a lime green T-shirt and khaki shorts. Sept. 15.

Residential burglary, 1400 block of Bainbridge Blvd. Missing: white male, mid-20s, 5-feet-11-inches, 165 pounds, dark complexion. Sept. 14.

Strong-armed robbery, Tatemstown and Fairview streets. While riding, the victim was threatened by a black male and told to give up his bicycle. The suspect then fled. Sept. 18.

Residential burglary,900 block of Butts St. Missing: microwave oven. Sept. 17.

Armed robbery, Berkley and Ruritan streets. During a verbal exchange, the suspect aimed a sawed-off double barrel shotgun at the victim's head, then took the victim's wallet. Description of suspect: black male, late 20s, 5-feet-7-inches, 180 pounds, wore all black clothing and drove away in a small gray vehicle. Sept. 18.

Grand larceny, 1800 block of Buttonwood St. Missing: two speakers. Sept. 16.

Grand larceny, 2000 block of Campostella Road. Missing: 75 radiator cores. Sept. 17.

Grand larceny, 3100 block of Fairview St. Missing: 1989 Honda Accord, white, license ZWX-9055.

Residential burglary, 2100 block of Weer Ave. Missing: stereo and speakers.

Grand larceny, 1400 block of Greenbrier Parkway, Hecht's. Missing: clothing valued at $1,164. Sept. 11 or 12.

Grand larceny, 600 block of Cardova Ave. Missing: 1984 Chevy pickup, light gray, license LFI-459. June 19.

Grand larceny, 400 block of Dominion Blvd. Missing: two air drills and three pneumatic drills. Sept. 9.

Grand larceny, 1400 block of Greenbrier Parkway. Missing: $25. Description of suspects: No. 1. black male, 30s, 5-feet-7-inches, 140 pounds, small build. No. 2, 25, 6-feet, 170 pounds. Sept. 14.

Commercial burglary, 500 block of Oaklette Drive. Missing: weed eater, four pieces of plywood and a yard blower. Sept. 17 or 18.

Commercial burglary, 3000 block of Indian River Road. Missing: hedge trimmers, grass blower and a chain saw. Sept. 16 or 17.

Residential burglary, first block of Colonial Way. Missing: cordless phone and a Smith & Wesson .357 magnum revolver. Sept. 16 or 17.

Grand larceny, 4200 block of Indian River Road. Missing: amplifier. Two black males were seen running from the scene. Sept. 17.

Grand larceny, first block of Exeter Circle. Missing: three speakers. Sept. 17.

Grand larceny, 1500 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: 16 spare tires, eight tires and rims, five rear spoilers. Merchandise valued at $10,244. Sept. 16 or 17.

Petty larceny, 1000 block of N. Battlefield Blvd. Missing: two sets of Virginia license plates, ZWJ-8483 and ZWJ-8484 and a utility trailer plate UT-74506. Sept. 16 or 17.

Residential burglary, 1200 block of Plantation Lakes Circle. Missing: girl's mountain bike and a computer monitor. Sept. 9.

Petty larceny, 1200 block of Executive Blvd. Missing: two inspection stickers. Sept. 18 or 19.

Petty larceny, 400 block of S. Centerville Turnpike. Missing: vinyl cover off a spare tire. Sept. 19.

Grand larceny, 1500 block of Head of River Road. Missing: four fishing reels and four 6-foot fishing rods. Sept. 14.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Residential burglary, 4200 block of Schooner Trail. Missing: video cassette recorder, compact disk player, tuner, tape deck and speakers. Sept. 7.

Grand larceny, 3700 block of Forsythe Court. Missing: amplifier, radio/compact disk player, two speakers, speaker box and a compact disk. Sept. 14.

Commercial burglary, 3200 block of Western Branch Blvd. Missing: $273. Sept. 18.

Residential burglary, 4400 block of Pepper Ridge Court. Missing: radio and two speakers. A side vehicle window was damaged. Sept. 17 or 18.

Grand larceny, 3400 block of Anita Circle. Missing: radio. Sept. 18.

Grand larceny, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd. Missing: an undetermined amount of Guess brand clothing, including overalls, jeans and T-shirts. The suspects were a black female and a black male in their early 20s. They were driving a light blue Monte Carlo, license ZWW-9610. Sept. 17.

Petty larceny, 3400 block of Myers Farm Court. Missing: speaker box. Sept. 17 or 18.

Grand larceny, 3200 block of Morningside Drive. Missing: 1990 Dodge Caravan, maroon, license CQR-801. Sept. 18. by CNB
