Chester Alexander Reynolds Jr., 76, of the 700 block of Crawford Parkway, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 1994.
Mr. Reynolds, a native of Portsmouth, was a retired terminal manager from Portsmouth Marine Terminal. He was also retired from the U.S. Army as a Lt. Col., serving during World War II and the Korean conflict. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church; Retired Officers Association; and Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club.
Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-laws, Jackie and George Anas, and Trish and Ken Pfiefer, all of Portsmouth; two granddaughters, Katherine and Suzanne Anas; a brother-in-law, Bill Morton Sr. of San Antonio, Texas; and nieces and nephews, Agnes Fuller and Earle Mobley, both of Portsmouth and Bill Morton Jr. of Minnesota and Gail Morton of Austin, Texas.
A graveside funeral will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. by Dr. Thomas Powers, in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Foster Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society or Parkview Baptist Church.
