Iris Caddell Lesner, 81, of Dominion Ave., died Oct. 2, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Lesner was born in Rocky Mount, N.C. She was a secretary for many years with Bemis Bag Co. She was the widow of Valentine S. Lesner and attended North Carolina College for Women. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles M. Caddell and was daughter of the late George and Mary Robbins.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Mary Anne and Floyd Genshaw of Seaford, Del.; a sister, Doris R. Preyer of Greensboro, N.C.; a brother, William Edward Robbins of Bailey, N.C.; five grandsons and wives, Mark and Elizabeth Genshaw of Murfreesboro, N.C., David and Becky Genshaw of Seaford, Del., Scott L. Genshaw and his fiancee, Terri L. White of Seaford, Del. and Brian V. Caddell and Gregory W. Caddell, both of Norfolk; one great-granddaughter, Emily J. Genshaw of Seaford, Del.; a daughter-in-law, Donna V. Caddell of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
