Viola R. Eads, 79, of the 8000 block of Driftwood Drive, a retired clerk, died Oct. 2, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Eads was born in Black Betsy, W. Va. She had retired from the Southland Corp. She attended Azalea Garden Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Francis V. Eads of Norfolk; a daughter, Nancy E. Taylor of Norfolk; a son, Jack W. Eads of Richmond; two brothers, Macil Adkins of Milton, W.Va., and Madeline Carr of St. Alubens, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Frank Taylor III of Virginia Beach and Terry Wayne Eads of Richmond; and four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Brett Taylor and Jennifer and Melisa Eads.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
