Esther Louise Mercer Hall, 60, of the 1700 block of Stadium Court, Virginia Beach, Va., died Oct. 2, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Eva Melson Mercer and the wife of Robert Leo Hall whom survives. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Zion Methodist Church, Grandy, N.C.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Roberta Lee Sommerville of Fort Wayne, Ind., Eva Arlene Dishman of Sterling Heights, Mich. and Leona Esther Bain of Long Beach, N.C.; one sister, Porcia M. Holden of Greenville, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held in the Mercer Family Cemetery in Grandy at a later date. The family will receive friends at the residence on Stadium Court in Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart Fund Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach or to one's favorite charity. Twiford Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, is in charge of arrangements.
