THOMAS J. ROUSE

Thomas Joseph Rouse, 43, died Oct. 3, 1994, in Bayside Hospital.

Mr. Rouse was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He had retired from Bell Atlantic as a cable splicer in California and Virginia after 21 years. He was a a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in Okinawa. He was a Catholic and was the son of the late Victor L. Rouse.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Rouse of Virginia Beach; a son, Joseph Thomas Rouse and stepsons, Mark and Matt Grinnell of Virginia Beach; his mother, Norma B. Rouse of Norfolk; a sister, Celia Durand of Springfield; two brothers, Gerald Rouse of Nassawadox and Richard L. Rouse of Norfolk; an aunt, Dorothy Scharrer of Erie, Pa.; and four nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass in his honor will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Julian Goodman. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
