Andrew Joseph Marcaurel, 75, departed this life Sunday, Oct. 2, 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Twisdale Marcaurel.
Mr. Marcaurel was retired from the U.S Navy and was a decorated veteran of World War II and Korea. He served on the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise. He also was retired from the U.S. Post Office. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 60.
Services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where he was a member, on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. The remains rest at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
