SOL LADERBERG

Sol Laderberg, 80, of the 1900 block of S. Ocean Drive, a retired furniture merchant in Norfolk, died Oct. 2, 1994, in Florida.

Mr. Laderberg was a native of Portsmouth and a former resident of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Edith, and his son, Richard Laderberg. He was a member of Congregation Beth El in Norfolk and was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Laderberg was a member of Atlantic Masonic Lodge (NU)2, Norfolk. He graduated from Wilson High School in Portsmouth and attended the College of William and Mary, Norfolk division.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Laderberg; two sons, Jerry Laderberg of Arlington, Va., and Brian Laderberg of Baltimore; two brothers, Albert and Howard Laderberg, both of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Chevra Thelim Cemetery, Portsmouth, by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
