GLEN R. KENNEDY

Glen Robert Kennedy, 64, of the first block of Rivercrest Court, died Oct. 3, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Kennedy was a native of Fon du Lac, Wis. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a rigger and was also retired from the U.S. Navy as a BMC. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association and American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice M. Kennedy; three daughters, Lynn Kube, Denise Ownbey and Sherlyn Law, all of Chesapeake; a son, Dennis Key of Portsmouth; three sisters, Gloria McBride of California, Patricia Bacon of Connecticut and Sally Spoerke of Fon du Lac, Wis.; four brothers, Lloyd Kennedy, Ronald Kennedy, Maxwell Kennedy, all of Fon du Lac, and Earl Kennedy of Sun City, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, Ginger, Donna, Angel, Trey, Eric, Jonathan, Krista, Katie and Jessica; and two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Sara.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
