BEATRICE H. PITT

Beatrice H. Pitt of the 2800 block of Kimball Terrace, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Oct. 3, 1994, in Norfolk Community Hospital.

Mrs. Pitt was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Moses S. Pitt. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, Women's Club, Chancel Choir, Nurses Unit, Missionary Circle, Feed Needy and Women's Auxiliary of Norfolk Community Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn Olivia Ingram of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary E. Jones of Norfolk, Jesse M. Dunn of New York City and Frances H. Vander Leeuw of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, F. Lisa Pitt Boone and Demetrius L. Pitt; and three great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Joseph, Jassmine Joseph and Keith Boone II.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in First Calvary Baptist Church at Henry and Wide Streets in Norfolk, by Dr. Johnnie L. White Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will assemble at 2804 Kimball Terrace. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
