CHARLES J. STERNAD

Charles Joseph Sternad, 63, of the 2700 block of Bunch Walnuts Road, died Oct. 3, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Sternad was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a Catholic. He was self-employed in construction and was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria McManus Sternad; two daughters, Jennifer Quartucci of Chesapeake and Patricia Wright of Juneau, Alaska; two sons-in-law, Richard Quartucci and Cdr. Frederick Wright; two sisters, Betty Paton of Scotland Beach, Md. and Kathleen McKenna of Chicago; a brother, Raymond Sternad of Parma, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brandon Quartucci, Whitney Quartucci and Ethan Wright; three stepgrandchildren; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Fetrow. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
