A story Tuesday on Nauticus incorrectly listed its attendance for
the Labor Day holiday. The National Maritime Center had 17,000
visitors during the holiday weekend.
A MetroNews headline Tuesday erroneously said a judge is urging
Chesapeake to settle a lawsuit over jail rape. Charges against the
city had been dismissed. The two remaining defendants in the lawsuit
are employees of the Chesapeake Sheriff's Department, not the city.
CLARIFICATION
Barr Brothers Jewelers is doing business at 403-A Granby St. in
Norfolk. The site being demolished, described in a BusinessNews
story and graphic Tuesday, is its former location.
