CARROLL A. WILKINSON III

Carroll Ashton ``Bill'' Wilkinson III, 62, of the first block of Frailey Place, died Oct. 5, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Wilkinson was a native of Goldsboro, N.C. He was employed at Wilkinson Motor Casting Repair Inc., Portsmouth. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his companion of many years, Carol Edelen, and her daughters, Tamela L. Joyce, Deborah Carol Edelen and Donna Lynn Phillips; several cousins, including Jesse T. Wilkinson III of Chesapeake; and four aunts, Elizabeth W. Matthews, Ivor W. West, Mildred A. Wilkinson and Dot Wilkinson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Joseph Savinsky. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
