Deborah Cox Tew, 29, of the 500 block of Hulen Drive, Deep Creek, died Wednesday in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Tew was born in Portsmouth and was the daughter of W. Ray and Faye Jones Cox. She was a bus driver for the Chesapeake public schools. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.
Other survivors include her husband, David M. Tew; two daughters, Melanie D. Tew and Shelly N. Tew; and one son, Shane M. Tew, all of Chesapeake; one sister, Cindy C. Quidley of Chesapeake; one brother, Stephen R. Cox of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and her maternal grandmother, Vertley Jones of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ernie Myers, with burial in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Deep Creek Baptist Church.
