Mary Ann Haines, 33, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1994, in an automobile accident in Southampton County.
Miss Haines was a native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and a homemaker. She was a Baptist. She was the granddaughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Dunlow.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Dunlow Webb, and stepfather, Roy Webb of Portsmouth; her father, Floyd A. Haines of Richmond; a son, Jeremy Scott Haines of Boykins; three sisters, Pamela Jean Howell of Pendleton, N.C., Judy Lynn Powers of Boykins and Cathy Cortney of Richmond; one brother, Wayne Haines of Boykins; and her paternal grandmother, Viola Haines of West Virginia.
A funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Jeremy Scott Haines Fund, c/o Pamela J. Howell, Route 1, Box 320, Pendleton, N.C. 27862.
