EDWARD C. RICHARDSON

Edward Clark Richardson, 72, of 714 Carolina Ave., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1994, in the Virginia Beach Dialysis Center.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., he was the husband of Irene Pallett Richardson, and retired in 1984 after 26 years as a mail carrier with the Virginia Beach Post Office. He was a Methodist, and an Army veteran of World War II.

In addition to his beloved wife, Irene, he is survived by one daughter, Connie R. Stimpson of Perry, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Chappell of Norfolk and Betty A. Richardson of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Russell P. Richardson Jr. of Virginia Beach, James P. Richardson and Robert B. Richardson, both of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Beth S. Nowlin of Tallahassee, Fla., and Leigh Ann Stimpson of Perry, Fla.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N. Great Neck Road, by the Rev. Samuel D. Beiler. The family will receive friends in Maestas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel tonight from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
