Lloyd Cecil Williams Sr., 62, of 926 Princess Anne Road, died Oct. 6, 1994, of cancer in his home.
Mr. Williams, affectionately known as ``LC,'' a retired certified welder of Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was born in Hertford, N.C., to the late Lolly C. Williams and Sarah Alice Pickett. He was a long time resident of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Lydia Randolph Williams; his mother, Sarah Alice Pickett of Swansboro, N.C., a sister, Bruce Davis of Swansboro; Aunt Margaret Casper of Chesapeake; seven children, Lydia Alice Dixon of Chocwinity, N.C., Lloyd Williams Jr. of Lynchburg, Va., Michael Williams of Moyock, N.C., Donald Williams of Norfolk, Cindy Bosher of Virginia Beach, Ben Williams of Moyock, N.C., Lisa Mozingo of Virginia Beach; 14 grandchildren, Matthew Dixon, Angela Benjamin, Lloyd Williams III, Christopher Williams, Michelle Williams, John Williams, Crystal Williams, Tommy Williams, Donald Williams Jr., April Williams, Robert Bosher Jr., Jennifer Bosher, Elizabeth Bosher, Rachael Williams; one great-grandchild, Shawn Williams; and 10 nieces and nephews.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Lamar Sentell. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
