Francis Vernon Rolley, 75, died Oct. 8, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Rolley was born and reared in Cheriton. He was a self-employed merchant and part owner of W.F. Rolley Hardware; a member of Cheriton United Methodist Church, Cheriton Volunteer Fire Co., and Capeville Masonic Lodge (NU)107 AF & AM; and the son of the late C. Vernon Rolley and Lucille Hamilton Rolley.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Fisher Rolley; a daughter, Diane R. Partin and a son, F. Vernon Rolley, Jr., all of Cheriton; and three granddaughters, Megan Rolley, Stacie Partin and Tyler Partin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Cape Charles Cemetery by the Rev. Clarence Bowen. Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Cheriton United Methodist Church, Cheriton, Va. 23316.
