ISAIAH C. ARRINGTON JR.

Isaiah C. ``Ike'' Arrington Jr., 65, of the 200 block of Cavalier Blvd., a retired brickmason, died Oct. 4, 1994, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

Mr. Arrington was born in Portsmouth. He retired from Blake Construction Company after 40 years, was a Navy veteran and the widower of Dottie L. Arrington.

Survivors include five daughters, Denise A. Matthews, Toni Arrington and Laverne A. Riddick, all of Portsmouth, Cynthia A. Bazemore of Suffolk and Beverly A. Joyner of Denver, Colo.; 11 sons, Mark Roberts, Reginald Irvin, Darryl Arrington, Bobby Arrington, Karl Arrington, Marvin Arrington and Michael Arrington, all of Portsmouth, Bradley Arrington of Arlington, Mass., Morris Arrington of Waianae, Hawaii, Guy Arrington of Richmond, Va., and Isaiah C. Arrington Jr., of New Brunswick, N.J.; his mother, Dorothy Arrington, and a brother, Rueben Arrington, both of Portsmouth; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fairwood Agape Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Robert L. Baker. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 2 p.m. today. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 10 a.m. for the funeral service.
