Clinton David Elliott, 72, of the 3200 block of Wise St., a retired longshoreman after 17 years, died Oct. 5, 1994.
Mr. Elliott was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of I.L.A., Mt. Hermon Baptist Temple, Alpha & Omega Lodge of Masons (NU)46 and Royal Arch Chapter (NU)34.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Rebecca Elliott; two daughters, Yvonne Haywood of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mildred E. Brown of Portsmouth; a son, Ervin Connell Maddrey of Portsmouth; a sister, Addie E. Davenport of Cleveland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several cousins; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Hermon Baptist Temple by the Rev. I.S. Waters. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
