Ernest Glen VanHorn, 65, of Maurice Avenue died Oct. 7, 1994, in Portsmouth.
He was a native of West Virginia, a retired superintendent of vending machines at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and the widower of Emma Jean VanHorn.
Survivors include a daughter, Debby Jo Wallman of Portsmouth; two sons, Ernest F. VanHorn of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Thomas Case of Portsmouth; a sister, Ilene Caporale of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and other times at 130 Byers Ave., Portsmouth.
