ENCARNACION DE RIVERA

Encarnacion Robertin VDA. De Rivera, 99, of the 5400 block of Larry Ave., a retired schoolteacher, died Oct. 6, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and was the widow of Simplicio Rivera. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Survivors include a daughter, Irma Rivera Mitsatsos and a son, Carlos C. Rivera, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren, Frank, Giselle, Manuel, Sally, Christy and Julie; and nine great-grandchildren, Carlos, Ramon, Frankie, Amanda, Shaelene, Ray, David, Patrick and Erika.

A funeral Mass was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Father Paschal Kneip, O.S.B., with burial in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
